Online Marketing (internship) - Tellow

Job description

Tellow is seeking a candidate for an Online Marketing Intern position who is ready to learn about all the ins and outs of marketing. As a marketing intern, you will be part of a young, growth-focused, dynamic marketing team. Together with the marketing team, you will assist in the planning and execution of marketing projects.

  • Create, edit and publish content to improve our search engine rankings and signups (e.g. for blog posts and landing pages)
  • Maintain and own Social Media accounts to increase brand image, awareness and engagement (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Setup and launch emails for recurring, nurturing, and marketing campaigns
  • Identify strategic keywords to target in Tellow’s website content
  • Perform various search engine optimization (SEO) tasks
  • Outreach to potential content and affiliate partners and analyze the competitor market
  • Engage with customers and prospects on our social media channels
  • Support our SEM team with optimization tasks (Google ads, Facebook ads)
  • Create reports of your results and efforts
  • Track campaign performance and analyze KPIs


The ideal candidate is, preferably, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Economics, although, if not, this does not preclude you from consideration for the position. To us, strong collaboration skills and personal drive are paramount.

You have:

  • Professional-level proficiency in both English and Dutch, written and spoken

The internship has a duration of 6 months.

Upon review of your resume and cover letter, if you are selected, you will be invited to begin interviews with our team. The first round of those interviews will be with our marketing team via video call. After that, we will ask you to do an assignment related to your prospective role to test your skills in the field, as we believe this is a strong predictor of your future work. For senior roles a cognitive ability test and personality assessment will be part of the process.
